Room 313, Sunday Afternoon

After calling Bruce and filling him in on how things were going - some things, at least, and Bruce might have known he was leaving stuff out, but Jason was convinced that it would be worse to tell Bruce everything - Jason went downstairs to check up on Nico. He knew that the demigods had things to make themselves feel better when they got hurt, but Nico had been looking really bad after his fight with Percy, and Jason was, quite honestly, worried. It was a weird feeling, and one he wasn't going to share with anyone else. Maybe not even Nico.

When he got to the door, Jason knocked, and listened for the sounds of anyone being in the room.

"Because I only want good things to happen? 'Cause I do," Jason said. "I don't want anything bad to happen to you, especially not from me. And I like making you feel good. I feel like maybe you haven't gotten enough of that before." And he knew what that felt like.

That warm feeling was back and Nico wondered if his chest might burn up from the inside if it continued. "You're kind of the bright spot," he admitted. "Um, it's a pretty good spot in the metaphor considering I belong in the Underworld."

"I like you being here a lot better than the Underworld," Jason said. Mostly because he was pretty sure he couldn't go there with Nico, so he'd have to be alone. "You're my bright spot too. That's why you're my happy thought."

There was only one way Jason could be with him in the Underworld, and Nico really didn't want that for him, nope. "I thought sex is your happy thought," Nico teased. "Probably 'cause you're so good at it. Or was that just sex with me?"

"It's not just the sex that makes me happy. It's who I'm doing it with," Jason said, turning a little red. "You think I'm really good at it?"

"Yes," Nico asserted, not trying to go into the land of unusual feelings he'd never experienced. "I mean, even with you being a cruel bastard, I still like it a lot."

"Hey!" Jason said, giving Nico a playfully dirty look as he nudged him in the stomach. "I'm not cruel. I wouldn't tease you so much if you didn't look so damn good when I did it."

"Is that why I'm always the first one with practically no clothes on?" Nico checked, smirking at Jason and pulling at his shirt.

"No, I'm just that good," Jason said, helping Nico pull his shirt up.

"Or I'm that easy." Tossing Jason's shirt out of his way, Nico couldn't help but press closer to all that warm skin.

"Well, I wasn't going to say anything..." Jason trailed off with a smirk as he wrapped his arms around Nico's neck and pulled himself closer to warm him up. "I don't mind you being easy though, not at all."

"Good, 'cause if it was a problem, I'm not sure I could change that." Jason should at least be mildly aware of this.

"It's not a problem," Jason said sincerely. "Trust me, having someone who's willing to strip for me easily is so not a problem."

"Just don't ask for the stripping to involve a dance," Nico warned. "You've already experienced the best I do there."

Jason laughed as he tried to imagine that. "I don't think I'd be very good in that area either, so I won't ask if you don't."

"Never," Nico assured him. "You're too good at fucking me and applying lotion to my bruises to dare piss you off." Who else would want a guy that looked like a punching bag, anyway?

"I don't think I'd be able to stay mad at you for long if you did piss me off. Which is saying something, because I don't usually have a problem with that," Jason said, smiling at all the compliments on his sexual skills.

Nico raised an eyebrow, only mildly concerned by the potential there. "Do you hold grudges, Jay?"

"Bruce says I get angry too quickly, and too much," Jason clarified, wondering if that would be a problem. "But it's always at people who deserve it, so I don't know."

"Ah, I anger quickly, but infrequently. I'm sure we can avoid it." Nico bent to kiss at Jason's shoulder, not wanting to remind him of the bad parts of his powers.

"Yeah, we've been doing well so far," Jason said. He didn't want to think about Nico getting angry either, and was perfectly happy to focus on kisses instead. "Really, really well actually."

"Probably because we mostly make out and screw around," Nico teased, his hand stroking a long line down Jason's back. "Not a lot of time for arguments when your mouth's busy."

"I...think I'm okay with that though," Jason said, leaning into Nico's touch. "Unless, um, you want more. I mean, that'd be okay too." Except he was probably a lot better at making out and screwing around.

"Uh, no! Not complaining," Nico promised very, very quickly. He was never going to understand Jason wanting to screw around with him, but he wasn't planning on messing it up by being a moron. "This is good. I mean, I'm never turning down you blowing me and then us having a half-naked nap. Even if I talk too much."

Oh, a half-naked nap sounded so good right now that Jason ended up shifting so he was curled up against Nico's side with his arm draped over him. "You don't talk too much," he said. "I like the way you talk. It's nice, it means I don't have to."
