The Arms Hotel, Some Room, Monday Morning

When Jason first woke up, the only thing he was aware of at first was the feeling of Nico's body next to his in bed. Slowly though, more little things started to come to him, like the fact that the bed was a lot bigger than normal, and that he couldn't for the life of him remember how they'd ended up in bed in the first place. As Jason sat up a little, he tried to remember what he and Nico had done this weekend to end up in a hotel room, but nothing was coming to him at all.

Leaning over to Nico, Jason gave him a little shake. "Nico? Wake up," he said softly. Of course Nico would have the answers he wanted. He always had Jason's back, right?

Jason was far too trusting that Nico would tell him anything that might hurt him.

"I thought making me plead with you was fun?"

"Oh, that's a different kind of fun," Jason said, letting his hand rest on Nico's stomach. "That's when I want to drive you crazy." It was a wonder Nico put up with him at all sometimes, really.

"Oooh," Nico smirked a little, allowing himself to enjoy just being close to Jason after the sucky weekend. "So then, you just have fun with me all the time. Since I swear your goal is always to drive me crazy."

"It is not," Jason insisted. "You wouldn't want to be with me if I drove you crazy all the time. I only do it when I know you're going to like it."

"And how do you know I'm going to like it?" Nico wondered. He didn't doubt Jason, he was simply curious.

"Well, now I know what you like. I mean, I know some of the things that make you really tick, so I know what to stick with," Jason said. "If you've liked something before, I'm kinda going to assume you'll like it if I do it again."

"So you're just using your smarts," Nico teased.

"I guess, if you want to put it that way. I just don't want to do stuff you don't like," Jason said. "I like to take risks sometimes, but not when it comes to you, if that makes sense."

It didn't, actually. "Why not when it comes to me? Did I do something to make you...worried or something?"

"Not worried, no. I just...you know, really like you," Jason admitted to Nico's shoulder, because that was easier than saying something like that to his face. "So, okay, I guess maybe I worry a little. Because I don't want to hurt you or anything."

Nico understood the really, especially if it was an exponential really. "I don't want you to worry," he said. "I'm pretty strong and besides, you'd never hurt me."

"I'm really glad you think that," Jason said, scooting closer to Nico. "Especially since I think there's lots of stuff we haven't tried yet."

Nico laughed, "Seriously, we need to get rid of that cast of yours. I'm gonna be the one accidentally hurting you if we try too much."

"Soon, I promise," Jason said, relaxing against Nico. "Then neither one of us will have to worry about hurting the other."

"Right. We can go back to determining more things that work in good ways...you know, it's a shame. We seem to have a hotel room all to ourselves." Why did Nico's mind instantly go to just how much noise they could make without anyone caring?

"We do. And I bet we don't have to leave right away," Jason said, nuzzling at Nico's neck. "We can probably stay for a while and do whatever we want."

There had to be words to express all those feelings Nico had when Jason was around or touching him. After the weekend, he was starting to feel like he should work harder at figuring out what they were.

"You know, have I mentioned how much I appreciate the way your mind works?" Nico asked, reaching to brush his fingertips through Jason's messy hair.

"Yes, but you can say it as much as you want," Jason said, his eyes closing at Nico's touch.
